Our History

2015

Holosun Technologies begins in Southern California with the 403 Series, introducing Shake Awake® and Solar Failsafe™ while laying the foundation for a new standard in red dot technology.

2016

The 510C is introduced, setting a new standard for open reflex sights with its expansive window, rugged design, and innovative features, earning its place as a flagship platform trusted by shooters across professional and recreational applications.

2017

Introduction of the 507C and 508T Series, delivering rugged durability, versatile performance, and Multi-Reticle System capability that raised the standard for pistol red dot sights.

2018

The LE and LS Series mark Holosun’s entry into the laser category, alongside the debut of Super Green LED technology for greater visibility and more efficient green dot performance.

2019

Holosun advances pistol optics with the launch of the 509T, its first enclosed emitter sight built for duty-grade reliability in demanding conditions, alongside the HM3X magnifier for fast, adaptable magnification on rifle platforms.

2020

The SCS Series introduction to the world redefines pistol optics with a fully integrated solar charging system, delivering near-continuous operation without battery replacement. Its ultra-low profile, direct-mount design sets a new standard for seamless green dot integration.

2021

The AEMS Series debuts, combining a large field of view with a compact enclosed design, delivering advanced features like Shake Awake and Solar failsafe, improved durability, and refined ergonomics in a streamlined optic platform.

2022

Holosun builds on its innovation with the EPS Series, delivering enclosed emitter optics to more handgun platforms, supported by the P.ID Series for enhanced low-light capability and control.

2023

The 507COMP Series launches for competition-focused applications, while the DRS Series expands the limits of optics by integrating digital night vision or thermal technology into a fusion red dot system.

2024

The DPS-TH sets a new benchmark in digital pistol optics, combining thermal imaging with enhanced detection, clearer imaging, and expanded real-world capability in a compact system.

2025

Holosun debuts the IRIS Laser Series and ARO-CORE red dot Series, enhancing its ecosystem with advanced aiming capability, improved integration, and optimized performance across rifle platforms.

2026

The next generation of pistol optics is introduced with the 507C-X3, 507PROMAX, AEMS-MICRO, AEMS-MACRO, and EPS-CORE, advancing performance with enhanced optics, improved efficiency, and seamless platform integration.
